Been using Respected Roots products for a month now. I don’t think my beard has ever been shinier or healthier. Absolutely LOVE my beard kit.
Placed my order in May and miraculously it was sent back to sender during delivery. Never got a reason why and didn't get a refund until June. So basically a month of no communication on what was going on which is why I replied back requesting a refund. A bit disheartening as I was looking forward to trying this product as I've never used a beard oil my entire 50yrs of living.
When I started my beard journey I was looking for products that would help me with hydration and growth. The previous products I used didn’t meet my expectations. I stumbled upon Respected Roots on Instagram and decided to give it a try since they had products that worked well black hair texture . The beard kit took my beard to a whole new level. My beard got fuller, smoother, and healthier after using these products. If you’re a black man trying to take your beard to new heights I recommend the beard kit.

When the product arrived, I was happy, but confused because the pick was absent. There was a note stating basically that due to some issues, the pick wasn't available and will be sent as soon as possible. I was skeptical and thought that I would never receive the pick, but after some time, the pick finally arrived. Even before the pick arrived, I was satisfied with the product with zero complaints. I honestly forgot about the pick, but the fact that it arrived has guaranteed me as a customer because they stayed true to their word. Great product and I definitely recommend.

Shady business tactics. Zero notifications of their shipping delays or items out of stock. Ordered a product and did not receive a full kit. Notice should have been prior to shipping the items for a partial refund or a gift card for the difference. Y’all ain’t mailing that comb out.
First, Like the products I ordered. However, as you can see in photo my oil was open and leaked significantly before I got the product. Secondly, my order was incomplete, I ordered the starter kit and the wooden pic/comb was not in my order, which was extremely disappointing. Love this products really do work
To anyone reading this review, understand that beard oil will not make hair grow where you don’t already have hair follicles. Products like Respected Roots help promote healthy beard growth by keeping your beard hydrated and keeping your hair follicles clean and healthy. That being said, I have noticed significantly less breakage in my beard in the 3 weeks I’ve been using RR. It smells great, my lady loves the way it smells, and it gives my beard a nice natural shine. The shampoo lathers up great too.
Have some patchy areas that are starting to grow in

This is my first time purchasing from roots, I always seen the ads and post on Facebook so wanted to give it a try. I don’t regret it at all, the oil smell is amazing, the tropical beard balm last the whole day and got so many compliments from it. Don’t pass this up.
