Honest Review: Great Product, Needs Better Communication I purchased a few Roots products as a Father’s Day gift for my uncle, and while the product itself was excellent, I do think the shipping and communication experience needs improvement. I placed my order the Tuesday before Father’s Day, and according to the shipping policy on their website, if you order before a certain time, your order should ship the same day. It also acknowledged that holiday shipping may cause delays, which is understandable. However, my order didn’t ship until after Father’s Day and it took about 5–6 days just to get a tracking update. Given the occasion (Father’s Day), I expected better communication during such a busy period. I reached out twice via the logistics email provided and, when I didn’t receive a response, I followed up via Instagram just to check the status. I only received an order confirmation and nothing more until it finally shipped. Even a simple automated email would’ve helped, something like: “Hey, we’re experiencing higher volume than usual due to Father’s Day orders. We haven’t forgotten you…your order is important to us and we’ll follow up in 48 hours.” That would’ve made all the difference. It’s frustrating to be left wondering what’s going on, especially when you’re ordering a gift for someone important. Now! on to the product itself. It was definitely worth the wait. The butter was rich, high-quality, and smelled amazing. My uncle really liked it, which says a lot. I waited a little while before writing this review because I wanted to hear his honest feedback, and I’m happy to report that he’s enjoying it and says it’s doing exactly what it’s supposed to do. In summary: 🟢 Product: Amazing. No complaints at all, would highly recommend. 🔴 Shipping/Customer Experience: Needs work. Please keep customers informed, especially around holidays. I WILL still shop with Roots again, but I do hope to see improved customer communication and fulfillment timing in the future.
